At Payne Academy of Ballet our Mission is to develop students based on the "Whole Dancer" concept, which reflects the belief that well trained dancers not only have the skills and technique required in Ballet, but also the exposure to other art forms, other dance disciplines, and how they ultimately relate to life itself!

The training at Payne Academy of Ballet (PAB) is a combination of the Royal Academy of Dancing, Cecchetti, and Vaganova methods. Though our personal training backgrounds are different, we feel this will enable our students to have a broader base of ballet training, where as pulling from only one method of training can be limiting to the student. All styles are incorporated into a classical syllabus that enables our students to walk away with a sound and pure style of training.

We recognize the importance of providing students with individual attention and the encouragement necessary to help them excel. Our instructors will challenge students by helping them set and achieve realistic goals in a positive and professional atmosphere. Some Academy students, young and old, take ballet simply to understand and enjoy the beauty of dance; others train intensively with the hope of achieving a career in the art form. Whatever each student's individual goals are, we believe the discipline, self-esteem, and the joy they experience through studying dance at Payne Academy of Ballet will improve their lives.
